# PayPal QR Code

The PayPal QR code will create a new contact when the QR code is scanned. The user has to accept the contact in order to add it to their address book.

1. Select the **PayPal** tab in the SQR QR generator [here](https://sqr.co/qr/paypal).
2. Fill in all the details in the input fields you need for your PayPal payment details to show up when the user scans your QR code. *You can choose from types Buy now, Add to cart or, Donation.*
3. Now the preview QR code will change to your custom QR code and you can scan it to see if everything is working properly before you download your QR code.
4. (optional) [Customize](/guides/customise-a-qr-code.md) the look of your QR code
5. Click “Create”
6. Your QR code is now visible in your [Dashboard](https://sqr.co/dashboard) and ready to [download](/guides/download-qr-codes.md), if you’re logged in. You can read more about downloading your QR codes [here](/guides/download-qr-codes.md).
