# Location QR code

The Location QR code will open an app like Google Maps or Apple Maps and show the location you have connected to the QR code, when the QR code is scanned.

1. Select the **Location** tab in the SQR QR generator [here](https://sqr.co/qr/location).
2. Fill in the **Latitude**.
3. Fill in the **Longitude**.
4. Now the preview QR code will change to your custom QR code and you can scan it to see if everything is working properly before you download your QR code.
5. (optional) [Customize](https://docs.sqr.co/guides/customise-a-qr-code) the look of your QR code
6. Click “Create”
